Students planning to enter a school of dentistry should complete three years of a four year college degree before applying.
Bismarck State College can provide the required courses for the first two years of an appropriate degree such as liberal arts with a major in biology or chemistry. An Associate in Science degree is awarded to those who complete requirements for the two-year program.
Applicants for dental schools are selected on the basis of academic performance, letters of reference from instructors, and the Dental Aptitude Test.
