Advisory Group
In August, 2009, in an effort to gain insight from the community the Office of Innovation formed an advisory group that now meets approximately four times a year. Members of the advisory group include:
• Niles Hushka, Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, Bismarck, ND
• Karel Sovak, The IDEA Center/ University of Mary, Bismarck, ND
• Dot Frank, Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce, Bismarck, ND
• David Ludwig, Security First Bank, Bismarck, ND
• Dr. Larry C. Skogen, President, Bismarck State College
• Brian Hushagen, BSC Associate Professor of Art
• Donna Fricke, BSC Career Resource Coordinator
• A current BSC student
The advisory group continually challenges Dr. Skogen and the Office of Innovation to incorporate creativity and innovation throughout the BSC campus as well as the surrounding community. We strive to meet, through our strategic initiatives, the college's vision of becoming a national model for innovation and workforce training.
