 Tony Richards is the President/CEO of the Mid-America Credit Union Association located in Bismarck, North Dakota. He has over 28 years of association and management experience. Tony has worked with profit and non-profit organizations in strategic planning, organizational development and various organizations ranging from start-up organizations to fortune 500 companies. He has consulted to business in 49 states and two foreign countries. He holds a bachelors degree from The American University in Washington, D.C., a Masters in Management and is working toward his doctorate in Organizational Management. Tony has taught Business Logistics and Group Dynamics at Penn State University and is currently teaching business classes in Bismarck for Rasmussen College of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is also an accomplished poet and has received honors and awards for his work from the National and International Poetry Society. Mr. Richards is the co-chair and founder of the North Dakota Autism Connection Association, a non-profit organization that works with local and state agencies and within the medical community to bring about awareness and information regarding autism. He serves as a board of director for the North Dakota Cooperative Council, and is a liaison for the North Dakota Homeland Security Agency. Tony is married to Sherris Richards, and has two daughters, Lauren age seven and Faith age five. He lives in Bismarck, North Dakota. |
