Networking: Making Professional Connections

This presentation gives you a quick look at the basics of networking to make professional connections, then moves quickly into some of the most common networking tools. You will explore the do's and don'ts of networking with the presenter sharing some of her own personal and professional experiences. This is a lighthearted approach on the serious topic of networking, but one that will leave you tips to use - today!
spacerPaula Redmann has been in the community relations and marketing field for over 25 years. She has been the Marketing and Development Manager for Bismarck Parks and Recreation District since 2004, a perfect fit for her passion for community and family. Paula is originally from Jamestown and received her advertising and public relations degree from the University of North Dakota. She says 'yes' to way too many organizations, and has served in a volunteer and leader in numerous community groups like the United Way, Leadership Bismarck-Mandan, St. Alexius Community Advisory Board, Heartland Child Nutrition, Business and Professional Women, church council, Century High School C-Club and Toastmasters. Paula is married to her high school sweetheart, Tom. (Sigh!) They have two active teenage sons, Alex and Max, who think their parents are from Mars. She loves to run on the trails and play in the yard.
