Renae Hoffmann Walker  Reserve This Speaker

Public Speaking 101 & Beyond!

Public speaking is like anything else: the more you do it, the better you get-really! This presentation will tell you what to find out when you are first asked to give a speech. You will learn how to quickly and easily structure your presentation, deliver your speech without fear, and tailor it to different age groups. Toastmasters principles will be incorporated.

Renae Hoffmann Walker is a gifted public speaker who has done numerous presentations at the local, state, and national level. She worked for KFYR TV for eight years as a reporter before entering the world of public relations. She has been with Bismarck Public Schools for 18 years as Community Relations Director.
Walker is a past president of Toastmasters and has earned her way to become an Advanced Toastmaster. Renae has chaired numerous groups, including but not limited to AdFed, the Chamber Marketing Committee, and Leadership Bismarck-Mandan.
Walker has her undergraduate degree in English, Broadcast Communications, and Psychology. Her master's degree is in Business Management.
In her "spare" time, Renae teaches writing and oral communications at the University of Mary and is a guest writer for Inspire magazine and The Chamber newsletter.
She will design other presentations upon request.
