You Want Me to Speak About What?
This presentation touches on the very topic that frightens
most people more than anything else….public speaking. It
includes an overview of why we are afraid to speak, and what we
can do to overcome that fear. It also incorporates skills learned
from Toastmasters International, as well as a variety of other
sources. Participants will get general preparation ideas, as well
as specific tips and skills to use in a variety of presentations
forums including formal speeches, impromptu situations, and
serving as a master of ceremonies.

Denise Kolpack has been speaking for 15 years on more than 30 different
professional topics. Full-time, Denise is the Assistant Vice President of
Corporate Communications for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota based in
Fargo. She previously served as Donor Recruitment Director for United Blood
Services, executive director of the North Dakota Newspaper Association and
North Dakota Water Coalition, and public relations manager for an
advertising agency. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of
North Dakota in Grand Forks.
