Online Learning for You?
|
*Must I ever travel to Bismarck? No. All of the work required to earn your degree or certificate may be done online. Bismarck State College has done a tremendous job in preparing all of the course work for online delivery. The ENRT 220 Practical Applications course requires students to complete "hands on" work at either a facility or at the BSC lab. If you choose to complete the work at a facility, we have someone who can assist you with setting this up. Do the courses have instructors? Yes. Is help available if I have computer problems? Expert help with your computer is available from the help desk twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. You may email the help desk or call them at 1-800-511-1957. What help will I get in my studies? Help with your studies is available by e-mail within 24 hours. Instructors will inform you as to other times and ways they will be available. Will I be able to contact other students in the courses? Yes. You will be able to communicate with fellow students in online discussion groups and chat sessions and also by email or you may choose to share phone numbers. Is online learning right for me? If you really want to pursue online learning, it's probably right for you. Additionally, if most of the following statements are true, online learning may be right for you.
