Wind Ensemble Concert

Date: 11/14/2012

Sidney J Lee Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

This concert is the culminating event of the semester for the students enrolled in wind ensemble. The repertoire is chosen to meet the educational needs of the students. Several of the participating students are music majors who plan on transferring into four-year programs at other institutions. Many are students pursuing their general educational requirements and simply wish to continue to play their instruments for recreational enjoyment. The concert program features pieces that are staples of wind literature, some of the latest contemporary pieces written by composers both familiar and new. The concert is free and open to the public. The music for the concert will be selected from the following pieces:
