The Bismarck State College Foundation annually offers 80 academic scholarships of $900 (approxiamately one-half of full-time tuition) and 40 performing and visual arts scholarships of $450 (approximately one-quarter tuition).

Performing arts scholarships are available to students with special talent in music and/or drama, though they may major in other areas of study.

The scholarships are granted based upon student auditions for the music and drama faculty.
