Dan Rogers, BSC Associate Professor of Speech and Theatre, earned his Master's degree from Mankato State University. Rogers was a working member of the Screen Actors' Guild for ten years before returning to educational theatre in 1988.

As an actor, Dan appeared in twelve feature films and over forty commercials. He has acted with such notable artists as Jimmy Stewart, Ned Beaty, Valerie Bertinelli, and Tuesday Weld.

On stage, Dan toured three seasons with Montana State University's Shakespeare in the Parks Company and has worked for several regional and summer stock theatres.

Dan comes to BSC from Webster University Conservatory of Performing Arts where he was head of the second year professional actor training program. Mr. Rogers is active in the Association fo Theatre in Higher Education (regional representative for the Two-year Program Focus Group) and he has also served as regional respondent for the American College Festival for the last eight years.
