You may search the catalog of the BSC
Library and other North Dakota library catalogs on ODIN.
The ODIN website also provides access to the telnet version of
ODIN (requires the use of commands).
The Databases (Articles & More) available to BSC Library patrons provide several magazine, journal, and newspaper indexes for finding
relevant articles, two literary encyclopedias, and an e-book
database called netLibrary. Many of the articles in the indexes
are available in full-text format which can then be printed or
e-mailed. If using a computer off-campus, you will be required to
login to whichever licensed resource you choose. To do so, you
will need to enter your library barcode number (on your library
card) and your password (your last name, in lowercase letters).
Example: 23103000287468 doe.
For BSC students and employees, your BSC photo
ID is your library card. In order to access the magazine
indexes, and to place holds and interlibrary
loan requests online, however, you must have your card
activated. If you are having trouble accessing the online
indexes, please call the library at 1-800-445-5073, or locally at
224-5450, or send us an
online question, and we'll explain the login
procedure. If you are an off-campus student in need of a library
card, please visit our Off-Campus Services
webpage and
Order Your Card Online.
The ODIN system does NOT include books from the Bismarck
Public Library. If you would like to search the Bismarck
Public Library online catalog, visit their Online Catalog. |
