AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
The Faculty Award for Excellence and the Staff Award for Excellence offer the opportunity to recognize a colleague's accomplishments. Perhaps you have noticed a faculty or staff member who has made a special or significant contribution to BSC this past year. The Award for Excellence is your chance to recognize someone who has demonstrated excellence in the performance of job duties.
Recipients are publicly recognized during BSC Celebration Day in April and receive monetary gifts from the BSC Foundation:
- Two Faculty Award for Excellence recipients, $1,000 each
- Two Staff Award for Excellence, $1,000 each
- Two Adjunct Faculty/Part-time Staff Award for Excellence, $250 each
The 2012 nomination timeline:
February 10 - Nominations due at BSC Foundation office by 5 p.m.
February 17 - Data sheets sent to nominees for completion
February 27 - Nominee data sheets due at Foundation office by 5 p.m.
March 6 - Nominations sent to Selection Committee (representatives from Foundation Programs Committee, NDUS office staff, Board of Governors, faculty and staff members)
March 20 to March 24 - Selection Committee meets and selects award recipients
April 18, 2012 - Award recipients recognized at BSC Celebration Day/Recognition Ceremony
