Bismarck State College and other agencies use a priority funding deadline for some programs due to limited funding. The following programs require a student to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by March 15th of each year:

• North Dakota State Grant
• Federal Perkins Loan
• Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
• Federal Work Study

The following programs require a separate application to be completed by the student and returned to the appropriate school/agency each year:

• Bismarck State College Foundation Scholarships - March 1st
• Bismarck State College Cultural Diversity Waiver - May 1st
• North Dakota Indian Scholarship - July 15th
