Cultural Diversity Waiver - is intended to encourage enrollment of a culturally diverse student body for the benefit of all students and the academic community at Bismarck State College.

Gates Millennium Scholarship - is funded by a grant from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to provide outstanding African American, American Indian, Asian American, and Hispanic American students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education. The discipline areas that are available for this scholarship include mathematics, science, engineering, education or library science. The goal of this scholarship is to promote academic excellence and to provide an opportunity for thousands of outstanding students with significant financial need to reach their fullest potential.

Indian Health Services Scholarship Program - applicants can apply for either of the following scholarships: Health Professions Preparatory Scholarship, Health Professions Pre-graduate Scholarship, and the Health Professions Scholarship Program. Students can enroll either as a full time or part time student. Students must maintain their enrollment status as full time or part time throughout the entire academic year.

Native Vision - scholarships are awarded each year for college enrollment. Any American Indian high school senior who has been accepted to college may apply.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society - there are a number of different scholarships students can apply for within this program who plan to major in either a science or engineering field. Students must be a member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society to be eligible for scholarships. However, students can apply for membership using the following website.

Association of American Indian Affairs - is dedicated to helping Native American people in meeting the challenges they face. One of those challenges is getting a higher education, which is why AAIA gives hundreds of college students the opportunity to pursue their degrees each year through scholarships.

Native American Scholarships - there are two web sites students can use to search for scholarships specifically designed for Native American students. Many Native American scholarships are available for enrolled members of federally recognized tribes.
