The Business and Professional Women's (BPW)
Foundation was established in 1956 by the members of Business and
Professional Women/USA (BPW/USA) to promote equity for working
women nationwide through education, research, and training. The
non-profit, non-partisan public foundation is headquartered in
Washington DC.
Business and Professional Women/USA BPW/USA is a grassroots
association with local organizations in every confessional
district as well as the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and
Puerto Rico. A not-for-profit, non-partisan, national
organization, BPW/USA works to achieve equity for all women in
the workplace through information, education and advocacy.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Female 25 years of age or older
- Citizen of the United States
- Officially accepted into an accredited program or course of
study at a US institution
- Graduating within 12 to 24 months from the date of grant
- Demonstrate critical need for financial assistance
